“Open Access in Universities”

The Riyad Nassar Library at LAU Beirut is organizing this presentation, which will be given by Ms. Sawsan Habre, ILL/DDS librarian, on the occasion of the International Open Access Week.

“Open Access literature is digital, free of charge and of most copyright and licensing restrictions”. It means that readers of scientific publications can read it over the internet, print it out and even further distribute it without payment or restrictions. (Peter Suber)
