The presentation will be given by Dr. Omnia Marzouk, an activist for multiculturalism, tolerance and building a better world. The event is co-sponsored by LAU’s Social Sciences Department and the Institute for Women’s Studies of  in the Arab World (ISWAW).

About the presenter:
Dr. Omnia Marzouk is an Egyptian Muslim who lives in the UK. She is a pediatric emergency physician and director of the largest children’s ER in Europe. The daughter of an Egyptian ambassador, she has traveled widely to facilitate dialogue and understanding between different faith groups.
