TEDxLAUSalon V.8.0: “How”

March 30, 2016 6:30 PM–8:30 PM
WKSC 201, Beirut campus

Most of us begin each year with the need to set plans, create new habits, and become better versions of ourselves. Unfortunately, though, our promises to ourselves tend to slowly disappear as we become absorbed in the ‘everyday’, in the problems that engulf our lives at times.

Despite the obstacles and challenges, we do know why we need to get things done, but it’s always a necessity to be reminded of how we can actually do that. And this is where this upcoming salon comes in handy!

Over the course of two hours, you are invited to an evening of TED Talks and animated discussions and activities. Four pre-recorded TED Talks will be screened, all providing us with innovative answers to our ‘how’. The talks have one thing in common: they give us practical tips to help us deal with our ever-increasing platters of responsibilities, desires, and dreams.

This salon is the first of a series of short events to be organized from now till the main, full-day event on September 24. The event will commence with coffee and networking from 6:30-7:00 p.m. followed by talks and discussions/activities from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

To sign up and reserve your spot for free, please click here. Spaces are limited.

P.S. For those studying/working at LAU Byblos, transportation will be provided. Just check the box and give us your contact info while filling out the form to claim your ticket.
