Traveling Studio in London

Byblos campus

The exhibition covers a nine-day architectural itinerary of LAU’s Traveling Studio, held in London in summer 2009, during which the students and their instructor visited academic, professional and built architectural environments.

The exhibit will open on December 9, at 6:00 p.m., in Rima Hourani Exhibition Room, Byblos campus, and will run until December 16.

Students: Maria Bachour, Tania Bou Jaoudeh, Wassim Chahine, Rachid Challah, Marylou Hamalian, Malek Hobeich, Cynthia Joulfayan, Maya Kfoury, Lina Kobeissi, Socrate Khatter, Mohammad Mneimni, Omar Nasrallah, Rasha Nimer, Mostapha Saleh and Elie Traboulsy.
Instructor: Elie Harfouche

A talk by Zaher Abou Ayache, Lebanese architect and partner at Foster + Partners, will precede the exhibition opening on December 9, at 4:30 p.m., in Science Auditorium, SCI 402, Byblos campus. Abou Ayache will be discussing Foster + Partners’ firm structure and its architectural concerns highlighted through a couple of projects.
