Alumni lecture 3: “Transactional Analysis”

Business building 903, Beirut campus

As part of its “Keep Learning” alumni lectures program, the Alumni Relations Office at LAU is organizing its alumni lecture no. 3 of the academic year 2011 – 2012 titled "Transactional Analysis."

This lecture will help participants understand their personality, and in turn, improve their human relations within their working environment.

As self-analysis is essential to understanding oneself as well as others in the business environment, this lecture will be the opportunity to analyze behavioral patterns and transactions. It will discuss the Trio inside each person, the Parent, the Child and the Adult, and the roles each play when making our decisions.

The examples set and the cases studied are all work-life related.

The lecture will be presented by Dr. Hady H. Safa, holder of a Ph. D in Talent Management and an MBA degree in Human Resources Management from Fairfield University.

Dr. Safa is the founder of STANDARDS-HRC that was created in 2005. He is a Certified Six Sigma trainer, NLP Practitioner, along with being a Life and Business Coach. Safa went through profound studies of Human Resources Change Management, and has successfully managed the Human Resources Departments of major multinational companies. He is currently running STANDARDS - Human Resources Consultants, and is, in practice, a public management trainer, a life coach, and a Motivational speaker.

The lecture will include a Q & A session and will be followed by a reception.

As places are limited, please confirm your attendance no later than April 19, by contacting the Alumni Relations Office at Tel: +961 1 786456 Ext. 1136, or e-mail alumni@lau.edu.lb.
