“Protests, Garbage and… Gender?!”

As part of it’s Food for Thought speaking series, the Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World is hosting an informal discussion with journalist Saada Allaw about the protests, civil disobedience, and activism. Journalist at As-Safir, Allaw is a researcher on human rights and civil rights activist.

The discussion will also tackle the role of women in the protests and what that means for gender equality.
