The Designer as an Agent of Change

The Department of Art & Design is hosting a lecture titled: “The Designer as an Agent of Change” by Rana Abou Rjeily.

Rana Abou Rjeily is an independent Lebanese graphic and type designer based in Beirut, graduated from Notre Dame University with a B.A. in Graphic Design and later acquired a Master’s degree in Visual Communication from Central Saint Martins, London. Rana teaches typographic and design at Notre Dame University and the Lebanese University since 2007. She is the author of the award-winning book Cultural Connectives, a typographic book bridging Arabic & Latin scripts, and the co-founder of Lebtivity.com, the social calendar for events in Lebanon.
