Young Biologists Symposium: Advances in Biological Sciences

The Department of Natural Sciences at LAU, in collaboration with the CNRS, cordially invites you to its “Young Biologists Symposium (YBS 2019): Advances in Biological Sciences”.

The symposium will cover advances in the fields of biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, neurobiology, microbial genomics, cancer biology, and cancer therapeutics.

It will also provide a platform that serves and help participants to share their work with the local and global community.

Tuesday April 9

9:00 a.m. Opening ceremony

9:30-11:30 a.m. Keynote lectures

11:30 a.m. Participants set up posters

1:00-3:00 p.m. Parallel sessions*

3:30-5:30 p.m. Poster session

Wednesday April 10

Workshops* from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

*Full details of the parallel sessions and titles of the talks and workshops to be available closer to the date

Abstracts must be submitted by March 15 to YBS.LAU@lau.edu.lb (Abstracts must be no longer than 200 words, Times New Roman 12, and should include author’s name and affiliation).
