Imagine Spring Residency: A Chamber Music Concert

Irwin Hall Auditorium, Beirut campus

The Imagine Workshop and Concert Series (IWCS) will close its Spring Residency with a chamber music concert by American Violinist Sally Koo, American Violist Chris Jenkins, Armenian-American Cellist Ani Kalayjian, and LAU Assistant Professor of Music Seba Ali on piano.

The concert will mark Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday and will feature two great works by Beethoven and his successor, Johannes Brahms. 

This event is free and open to the public.

Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Quartet in C Major, Woo.36, No.3:         

1. Allegro vivace

2. Adagio con espressione

3. Rondo: Allegro

Johannes Brahms: Piano Quartet No. 1, in G Minor, Op.25:

I. Allegro (G minor)

II. Intermezzo: Allegro ma non troppo — Trio: Animato (C minor, ends in C major)

III. Andante con moto (E major)

IV. Rondo alla Zingarese: Presto (G minor)
