Triggering the Empirical Space

Online Via Webex

Living Spaces have always been under constant evolution. They adapt to environments, economy and cultures. However, the typology of the spaces we dwell is usually a repetitive prototype in one specific zone. The lecture will tackle multiple strategies on approaching the empirical space. The empirical space, is a resultant space defined by experiential strategies, neglecting preconceptions, and predefinitions of any outcome. The presentation will illustrate a set of speculative projects, they all demonstrate a living condition, each redefining the notions of a past architectural movement.

Moustafa Saleh Moussa is an architect, a computational and technical design professional. In his research “Industrial Prosthetic Architecture”, he discusses a tectonic intervention of public space within abandoned structures in Lebanon.
