By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Identify the prerequisites for the creation of a culture of civic engagement from a leadership certification perspective;
- Acknowledge and apply the key performance indicators of civic engagement in order to measure and assess civic engagement work;
- Understand the importance and utility of civic engagement outcomes;
- Network with international educational institutions and Civic Engagement centers of excellence in order to enrich their experiences and benefit from the creative opportunities that are within their reach

- Operational definition of civic engagement
- Symbiotic relationship between civic engagement and leadership
- Educational models and best practices
Session Two (2 hours)

Session Three (2 hours)
Civic Learning Outcomes
- Student initiation and management of civic engagement projects
- Student research, organization and execution of a deliberative democracy project
- Student Leadership of complex tasks related to public awareness and public policy
- Student integration of academic work community engagement and producing a tangible product
Session Four (1 hour)
- Discussion about the prerequisites for leadership certification and the utility of networking
- Case Studies and best practices.
