Common Ground Film Festival 2009

LAU’s Institute for Peace and Justice Education will host the Common Ground Film Festival 2009 on “Truth and Reconciliation” for two days from 4:00–7:00 p.m. The event is organized by Search for Common Ground and The Lebanese Center for Policy Studies.

November 18:
- Introduction (10 min)
- Film screening: In My Country (103 min), produced by John Boorman, Robert Chartoff, Kieran Corrigan, Lynn Hendee and Mike Medavoy.
- Dialogue (30 min)
- Break (15 min)
- Film screening: I Met the Walrus (5 min), written and directed by Josh Raskin (2007).
- Dialogue and wrap-up (30 min)

November 19:
- Introduction (10 min)
- Film screening: In Spite of War (32 min), directed by Zeina Sfeir.
- Dialogue (30 min)
- Break (15 min)
- Film screening: For You Wherever You Are (52 min), directed by Bourhan Alouyah.
- Dialogue and wrap-up (30 min)
