Independence Day celebration

The celebration of the Lebanese Independence Day will take place with the participation of four student clubs: Offre de Joie Club, Scouts Club, Pulse Club, and Civic Engagement Club.
The event will include:
- Singing of the Lebanese National Anthem by the LAU community, near the fountain, starting 12:00 p.m.
- Raising of the Lebanese flag (especially designed by the Scout Club and flying of 12 doves by the 12 founding members of the Civic Engagement Club.
- Distribution of flyers, pins and CDs (designed by the Pulse Club) to the LAU community.
- Playing of ceremonial music by The Internal Security Orchestra (50 instrument players) led by Lieutenant Ziad Mourad.
- Planting of three cedars by the Offre de Joie Club near the Frem Center (12:50–1:00 p.m.).
