Didier Moretti is the VP Emerging Technologies Incubation at Cisco. He leads a team responsible for selecting, developing and shepherding Cisco’s next $1B businesses, from the concept stage all the way to a successful business unit.

Bio:

Didier Moretti is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience as CEO of startups as well as VP/general manager in a public company. He brings to Cisco ETG entrepreneurial skills and a proven record of developing businesses with innovative products and business strategies.

Moretti’s experience spans the software, systems, and networking industries. He most recently led a management consulting business assisting companies with product and go-to-market strategies, in areas ranging from web-based consumer services to enterprise software and systems. Prior to that, Moretti was president and CEO of RedSeal Systems, a startup in security risk management. He was also the founder, president and CEO of Annuncio Software, a leading provider of internet marketing software, which he led for five years and successfully sold to PeopleSoft. Prior positions include president and CEO of Cambio Networks, a network management company, and VP/general manager at UB Networks. Moretti joined UB Networks when it was privately held, and stayed on through the company’s IPO and subsequent acquisition.

Moretti holds M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and computer science, and in technology and policy, both from MIT. He also holds an M.S. degree from Ecole Polytechnique, France.

In his spare time, Moretti enjoys spending time with his four-year-old daughter, and kite boarding on the San Francisco Bay.
