A guest speaker, Issam Michael Saliba, will be speaking at Dr. Imad Salamey’s Lebanese Politics and Administration class. This event is open to the public.
Saliba serves as a legal specialist at the Law Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., providing legal advice and analysis to the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the U.S. government on issues related to the laws of the Middle East and North Africa. He has written on issues of international and domestic law, such as the creation of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the trial of Saddam Hussein, and the Lebanese presidential election.
