Arabian Adventure Roadshow 2010 at LAU

This year, the Arabian Adventure Roadshow will be hosted by Cisco Systems in collaboration with the LAU Cisco Academy Training Center (CATC). The theme of this year’s event is “Education Means Development.” It is about the opportunity to get to know more about what Cisco Networking Academy is doing from networking, creating sustainable academy communities, collaborating and driving the ICT education forward. The event will feature world-class speakers, powerful sessions and demonstrations including live examples of NetAcad integrated models in neighbor countries.

The main focus of the event will be to:

  1. Provide program updates on the new curriculua, including technical, administrative and training updates.
  2. Raise and maintain the quality of instructions by offering quality technical retraining sessions to instructors.
  3. Provide guidance to Academies in effectively managing the business of their Academies, Workforce Development and Student Advocacy.
  4. Provide training in the use of new or updated tools such as Packet Tracer, WebEx, etc.
  5. Provide instructors with an exposure to future trends in networking offerings.
  6. Facilitate networking between Academies and prospective employers for Workforce Development programs, Cisco Resellers for smoother procurement and an open day for prospective academies.
  7. Cisco Certifications and University Relation updates.
  8. Learn about the changes of the Networking Academy program and its evolution.
  9. Retrain as well as interact peer to peer with other instructors and Cisco Experts.
