Commemoration of Armenian Genocide

In front of the Safadi Fine Arts Building, Beirut campus

This event is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the first genocide of the 20th century in which around 1.5 million Armenians were annihilated by the Ottoman Empire.

Lebanese director and actress Carmen Labaki is going to highlight the events of 1915.

A monument dedicated to commemorating the genocide, built by Armenian scouts, will be displayed in the Fine Arts Building area. A photo exhibition will take place, and several dances will be performed by Armenian dancers of Freedom Dance Group.
