2nd Annual Meeting of the Lebanese Society for Mathematical Sciences

The objective of the conference, which will be hosted by LAU’s School of Arts and Sciences – Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, is to bring together researchers, practitioners and graduate students with interest in the different fields of mathematical sciences: pure, applied, and computational mathematics, in addition to math education.
A panel discussion on “Current Status and Future of Lebanon’s Doctoral Studies in Mathematical Sciences” will be closing the meeting.
The event is co-organized with the Lebanese Society for Mathematical Sciences (LSMS), the Lebanese University, and the Center for Advanced Mathematical Sciences at the American University of Beirut (CAMS), and is sponsored by the National Council for Scientific Research (NCSR).
The conference will feature the following seven invited speakers:

In addition there are over 25 contributed papers. The conference proceedeings will be published in a special issue of Elsevier’s Procedia.
