Arab Uprisings

The Department of Social Sciences invites you to participate in an open roundtable discussion on the unfolding Arab uprisings. The discussion will focus on the European perspective vis-à-vis the uprisings, as well as Lebanon’s position against this backdrop.

The roundtable participants will include:

The discussion will be moderated by: Dr. Tamirace Fakhoury (Social Sciences, LAU)

There will be a simultaneous videoconference in Irwin Conference Room A at LAU Beirut for anyone unable to attend in Byblos.

The discussion will be followed by a reception at the Byblos campus.
