You are invited to attend “How to position yourself for a career in International Finance,” a presentation by Paul Raphael, chairman of LIFE (Lebanese International Financial Executives) and head of Wealth Management for Emerging Markets at UBS.

Event Schedule:
6:00-6:15pm: Introduction and presentation of LIFE and the Life Scholarship Program.

6:15-6:35pm: Discussion of the presentation’s topic. Raphael will talk about his personal experience and give some generic advice.

6:35-7:00pm: Q&A session.

About the speaker:
Paul Raphael is the head of Wealth Management for Emerging Markets at UBS. Prior to that, he spent 6 years at Credit Suisse, most recently as head of Investment Banking for the Asia-Pacific region and as a member of the bank’s Global Investment Banking Operating Committee. Previously, he was head of European Equity Capital Markets and co-head of the Global Markets Solutions Group. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Raphael spent 10 years at Merrill Lynch where he was chairman of the firm’s Emerging Markets activities in Europe.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Raphael is currently serving as chairman of LIFE.
