“Light and Color in the Dynamic of Interior Environment”

 The Department of Architecture and Interior Design is organizing a lecture by Tiiu Poldma entitled: “Light and Color in the Dynamic Interior Environment: Perspectives and Processes.”

Tiiu Poldma is professor (School of Industrial Design), vice dean of Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Environmental Design, University of Montreal. Director of the FoCoLUM Lighting laboratory and researcher with the CRIR – The Centre of Interdisciplinary Research in Adaptation, she directs research projects in the domains of experiential environments, light/technologies and health/well-being using design/research methods in interior environments in both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary contexts. She has obtained numerous professional awards in her 30-year career including the Fellow of FERDIE (Canada) and her expertise in project management and design thinking integrate how theory and practice can be brought together in design projects for the interior environment.
