The Department of Communication Arts (journalism emphasis) is organizing a three-day workshop on investigative journalism in partnership with UNESCO’s Beirut office.

The workshop will cover the essentials of investigative journalism from planning, reporting and writing to related ethical and legal questions. It will combine lectures and discussions with hands-on exercises.

-Participants: Ten senior journalism students from LAU and ten senior journalism/media students from universities around Lebanon.

-Trainer: Journalist Marlene Khalifeh of Assafir.

-Co-trainer: Yasmine Dabbous, assistant professor at LAU.
