Creative Writing Prizes and Awards

The Department of English Language Instruction, in cooperation with the Department of Humanities and the Writing Center, has organized this semester a Creative Writing Competition in which English 102 and English 202 students were invited to participate.

A committee composed of Dr. Diab, Paula Habre, Samira Shami and Shadi Shidrawi evaluated the pieces submitted and chose three finalists. The finalists are now revising their work, and the judges will evaluate the results to determine their ranking.

We would like to invite you to attend the awards ‘event’, which will be held on Friday, May 24, at noon, in Nicol 222. The winners will then receive their prizes and certificates from Dr. Diab.
Refreshments will be served.

All are welcome to attend.
