The School of Architecture’s Department of Fashion Design is inviting Jason Steel, a British fashion academic, to deliver a lecture followed by a question and answer session.

Steel holds a first class (hons) degree from Northumbria University and was invited to attend the Royal College of Art, London where he specialized in menswear and textiles.

He will be talking about fashion education in the UK and internationally based on his extensive experience at leading universities. He will also dispel many myths about being a fashion designer, discussing what it takes to stand out from the crowd, developing creative processes and most importantly how to be happy! He will also be available to answer questions privately during his time in Beirut.
