Computer Science Summer Institute
Dorm A, Byblos campus
The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics is issuing an open call to join the third annual Computer Science Summer Institute held on the LAU Byblos campus, where students will be introduced to advances in computing and will learn to build a mobile application.
High school students enrolled in Grades 10 and 11 in the general sciences, life sciences and economics are eligible for participation, as are all American high school program students.
It will be held from July 1-5, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Academic Computer Center, Dorm A. For more details and the application, please click here.
There are many prizes for the taking, including a Galaxy tablet and scholarships to the Computer Science program at LAU. Participation is free of charge.
Students are invited to apply before June 19, 2013.
