OCE Presentation: “Tolerance Matters”

The Outreach and Civic Engagement Unit will celebrate the United Nations International Day for Tolerance under the theme “Tolerance Matters” with a series of interactive presentations by the OCE team, led by Executive Director Elie Samia. The event will commence with a general introduction from Mr. Samia followed by the OCE team members tackling the importance of tolerance from individual, regional, and international perspectives.

The presentations, and lecturers are as follows:
- Hassan Baalbaki on the legal dimensions of tolerance
- Ghina Harb on tolerance in the Middle East, post-Arab Spring
- Rita May Rahme on negotiating win-win solutions 
- Rana Salloum on the changing power of empathy
