Fall Major Production: “Rumors”
The Fall major production will be “Rumors”, by American playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon. It premiered in 1988 and ran on Broadway for 535 performances. It has been translated into Arabic by LAU faculty member Dr. Ahmad Oueini.
The play revolves around four couples that consecutively arrive at a house party to celebrate their hosts Charlie and Mira’s 10th wedding anniversary. Charlie has been shot through his ear, and Mira is nowhere to be found. As the couples arrive, the action increases, revealing with it more rumors. Will the guests be able to solve the mystery without getting in trouble?
