“Computing in the 21st Century: On Cultivating Ideas and Being an Entrepreneur”

The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics and the LAU Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Student Chapter in Byblos are organizing a seminar entitled “Computing in the 21st Century: On Cultivating Ideas and Being an Entrepreneur”, by guest lecturer Ramzi Rizk.
Mr. Rizk is a Lebanese-born entrepreneur and an LAU Byblos graduate in computer science. He is the founder and CTO of EyeEm; a Berlin-based photography community and marketplace. Founded in 2010 in Berlin, Germany, EyeEm is a fast-growing photography community and marketplace with over 10 million downloads and millions of active photographers. Mr. Rizk will share some of the lessons learned from founding, growing and running one of the largest global photography communities in Europe.
