“Decentralization in Lebanon: Prospects and Challenges”

The Department of Social Sciences is hosting a lecture entitled “Decentralization in Lebanon: Prospects and Challenges” by Dr. Andre Sleiman. The lecture will be given as part of Dr. Imad Salamey’s Lebanese Politics class. 

Dr. Sleiman is the local governance specialist for Management Systems International (MSI) contracted by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to strengthen local administrations. He plans, organizes and provides technical assistance and training to build the capacity of municipalities; conducts technical assessments and designs appropriate training packages.
