“The Meaning of Life”
Business Building 904, Beirut campus
The Department of Social Sciences is organizing a lecture entitled “The Meaning of Life” by Dr. Prashant Kakoday, who graduated from the Royal college of Surgeons in London. He has spent the last 30 years promoting spiritual principles in life and health. His talk will be on the paradox of the present world, how the vital issues of the meaning and purpose of life are not seen as important until towards the end of life. He posits that it would be much wiser to grapple with these questions early on in life and experience sense and richness in our very existence. The talk and the subsequent discussion will aim to address the message from nature, and will explore whether the way our brains are made give us any clue to human destiny and meaning.
All are welcome to attend.
