The Notion of the Islamic State in the Middle East

The Department of Humanities in partnership with the Department of Social Sciences are hosting a panel discussion entitled “The Notion of Islamic State in the Middle East.”

The panelists are Mr. Peter Harling from the International Crisis Group, Dr. Vahid Behmardi of Department of Humanities, and Dr. Selim Deringil of the Department of Humanities.

Dr. Sami E. Baroudi of the Department of Social Sciences will be serving as moderator.

The lecture will take place in Irwin Conference rooms A, B, C on the Beirut campus and on the Byblos campus in Block A 710 via video conference.
