“Exiting Babylon - Speak My Language”

Business Building 904, Beirut campus

As part of its “Keep Learning” alumni lectures program, the Alumni Relations Office at LAU is organizing lecture #2 of the academic year 2014 – 2015 entitled “Exiting Babylon – Speak my Language”.

Have you ever been misunderstood? Of course you have, haven’t you? What was the cost of that to your relationship, be it with a spouse or with a client? We tend to think that our communication is flawless; yet, the meaning of any communication is the result it gets and more often than none, communication breaks down leading to diminution of trust, damaged relationships and lost business. This interactive and highly practical session will help you understand the causes of miscommunication, discover your own behavioral style and that of others as well as giving you the road map of how to deal with differences, which fosters and builds harmonious relationships and resolves conflicts.

The lecture will be presented by Mr. Johnny El Ghoul, an enthusiastic, energetic and versatile Life Coach, Trainer and Consultant; he has Master Practitioner certifications from the American Board (ABNLP, ABH, and ABTLT) in NLP, Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy®. He is also certified as an NLP Coach from the British Association of NLP (ANLP). Johnny also has a Life Coaching Accreditation from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is a member of the American Board of NLP and the Lebanese Coach Association (LCA). He works with Individuals and Corporations throughout the Middle East to help them fulfill their full potential of becoming all what they can be. Johnny is also the founder of Crossroad Coaches® a training company specializing in Corporate training.

The lecture will take place on Friday January 30, 2015 at the Ghada Daniel Boulos Room - Business Building 904 (Beirut Campus), from 6:30 till 8:30 p.m. (including a Q&A session) and will be followed by a reception.
