“Is Arabic Still Our Mother Tongue or is it Tiji and Nickelodeon?”

The Department of Education is hosting a lecture entitled “Is Arabic Still Our Mother Tongue or is it Tiji and Nickelodeon?” by guest speaker Ms. Nadine Touma.

The lecture will discuss the issue of whether Arabic resembles what we dream of becoming, or if it is so associated with negative stereotypes that we punish the language.
