CLH Remembering May Ziade

The Center for Lebanese Heritage is hosting a lecture entitled “May Ziade is remembered by her country,” in memory of the late Lebanese-Palestinian poet, essayist and translator.
Vice-President for Cultural Affairs and Public Relations at Notre Dame University Mr. Souhail Matar will be speaking about Ziade’s life, from pain to rebellion. Geryos Ziade will give a speech entitled “May Ziade, a daughter of Chahtoul,” followed by a recitation of some of Ziade’s work by the actors Jihad Atrash and Jihad Al-Andari.
