Scales of Intention: Reflections on Craft, Interaction and Shared Space

The Department of Architecture and Interior Design is hosting a lecture entitled “Scales of Intention: Reflections on Craft, Interaction and Shared Space” to be given by Ahmad Khouja.
Khouja moved to Beirut in 2011 from San Francisco, California where he had been working in architecture and furniture design after receiving his M.Arch. from University of California at Berkeley College of Environmental Design and his B.A. from Columbia University. He has a background in multimedia installation design and music production. Since moving to Beirut he has taught design and parametric modeling at the American University Beirut and LAU as well as in training workshops for various companies including Dar Al Handasah and Joseph Tohme Architects. He currently runs a design and fabrication company based out of a traditional crafts space in the Remeil area.
