Alumni “Speak My Language”

Business Building 904, Beirut campus

As part of its Keep Learning alumni lectures program, the Alumni Relations Office at LAU is organizing for LAU alumni a lecture entitled “Speak my Language,” and would like to extend this invitation to the rest of the LAU community.

The lecture will be presented by Imad Mekahal, who has been a professional trainer and human capital development consultant for the past 26 years. Mekahal is a holder of an M.A. degree from the American University of Beirut. He is specialized in business leadership and development management, communication and public speaking skills, sales and customer care techniques, persuasion and negotiation skills. He developed a special ability to create challenging and realistic role play scenarios giving participants a unique opportunity to rehearse skills immediately, which in turn helps them to internalize the learning and make it real and ready to be applied at work.

In this lecture, Mr. Mekahal will be discussing how body language mastery can facilitate your personal & corporate success.

He will cover:

• How body language can speak louder than your words

• The importance of learning to decode body language

• How body language can enhance confidence and build trust

• Body language applications that can increase your personal power

• How we can use body language to bring more results at the corporate level

The lecture will include a Q&A session and will be followed by a reception.

As places are limited, please confirm your attendance no later than March 25, 2015 by contacting the Alumni Relations Office at Tel: +961 1 786456 Ext. 1136, or e-mail alumni.relations@lau.edu.lb.
