6th Annual NGO Fair
Beirut campus
Every year, the Outreach and Civic Engagement Unit at the Lebanese American University organizes its annual NGO fair, now in its 6th edition, to bridge the gap between students and civil society whereby NGOs are given the chance to sensitize students about their work and students are given the unique opportunity to channel their creative potential, energy, and passion into the meaningful conduits of constructive social work. Around 100 NGOs working in the fields of either Citizenship, Human rights, Health, Education, or Sustainable Human Development registered for the fair.
This year, we are highlighting the role of civil society in supporting the Public sector for better public policy within 3 main pillars: Health, Education, and Sports. Within this context, the theme of our 6th NGO fair is “Together for a Better Society: Public-Private Partnership”, and it is under the patronage and the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health Mr. Wael Abou Faour.
