The Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World, in collaboration with the Centre for Women at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), are holding the launch of a flagship study titled “Access to Justice for Women and Girls in the Arab Region: From Ratification to Implementation of International Instruments”. It will bring together representatives of governmental institutions, gender experts and researchers, development practitioners, student community, and media personnel, and will feature a presentation (in English) about the study followed by an open discussion of its main findings and proposed recommendations.
