The Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World is organizing a conference entitled “Upholding Gendered Peace at a Time of War: Academics and Activists Speak Out on the Shifting Places of Women in the Arab World.”

The conference is organized in Beirut in collaboration with Women in War-France, and Beit Al-Hanan-Lebanon, and in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Rule of Law Program MENA Region, The Danish Centre for Research and Information on Gender, Equality and Diversity (KVINFO)-Denmark, and the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie – France.
