Alumni “Enough”

As part of its “Keep Learning” alumni lecture series, the Alumni Relations Office at LAU is organizing lecture #3 of the academic year 2015 - 2016 entitled “Enough”.
The lecture will be presented by Dr. Walid R. Touma who will share some of his major achievements and help understand the power of the word “enough” and how by simply saying and executing it we can make a positive impact on our lives.
Dr. Walid R. Touma is an assistant professor of management at Adnan Kassar School of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas. Currently, he is the chairman of Baraka Holding, sits on the board of directors of several international and Lebanese corporations, and holds the positions of director of the University Enterprise Office and director of the MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders program at LAU.
Dr. Touma is a management and strategy consultant, with more than 25 years of experience in launching, building, acquiring and selling successful businesses and executing multimillion dollar Venture Capital backed projects in the areas of information technology & services, power generation, real estate, and manufacturing & trade. The lecture will take place on Friday January 29, 2016 at the Ghada Daniel Boulos Room (904) – Adnan Kassar School of Business (Beirut Campus), from 6:30 till 8:00 p.m. (including a Q&A session) and will be followed by a reception.
