The Old Architecture in Lebanon and its Contemporary Revival

The Department of Architecture and Interior Design is hosting a lecture by Photography Instructor Bassam Lahoud titled “The Old Architecture in Lebanon and its Contemporary Revival.”
The event will start with a historical review of the Lebanese old architecture and its different influences. It will then focus on Amchit as a case-study and end on the project of a modern house built in the coastal town while respecting the different functions and features of traditional architecture.
