The Lebanese Cuisine: Heritage Landmarks

The Center for Lebanese Heritage and the Department of Hospitality Management and Marketing are hosting a lecture titled: “The Lebanese Cuisine: Heritage Landmarks”, in the presence of Chef Antoine El Hajj, director of Institut Hotelier in Dekwaneh and Anthony Rahayel, the founder of Souk el Akel in Lebanon and the owner of the blog No Garlic No Onions.
The lecture will discuss the relationship of the Lebanese people with their land, harvesting and marketing of agricultural products, foreign food in the Lebanese cuisine, and the tools used by the Lebanese in planting, plowing, and harvesting. Fresh samples of Lebanese traditional food will be tasted by the attendees after the lecture.
The center’s director, Henri Zoghaib, will open the meeting. All are welcome to attend.
