Antonia Mulvey Discusses International Law and Justice Mechanisms

The Institute for Social Justice and Conflict Resolution and the Department of Social Sciences are hosting a discussion with Antonia Mulvey on “International Law and Justice Mechanisms”.
Antonia Mulvey is the Executive Director of Legal Action Worldwide (LAW). She is a British lawyer with more than two decades years of experience in international human rights, refugee and criminal law. Mulvey has headed rule of law programmes for the UN and INGOs in Africa and the Middle East. She is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics and has been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University Law School, New York. She is completing her PhD in international law at SOAS, University of London and is an Expert Panelist for the Masters programme at the University of Leicester, UK. She is a sexual violence expert for UN Women and Rule of Law expert for UNDP, European Union and UK Government. She lectures widely on access to justice and rule of law issues.
This event is part of Mr. Philippe Lazzarini’s graduate course ‘The United Nations: the humanitarian, development and peace and security nexus’.
