The Department of Architecture and Interior Design is hosting a lecture titled: “Environmental Systems Integration and Design: Accentuating the Surplus from Rationale to Process and Opportunity” by Mohamad Araji.

This lecture explores the interrelationship between sustainability, energy, and environment. The content covers the influences of climate and comfort, strategic systems utilizations, sustainable passive and active design principles, and emergent technologies in architecture. Practice, research, and teaching components will be highlighted to address high performance optimization relevant to urban and building design typologies.
