The Association of Media Educators in Lebanon (MedLeb), in collaboration with LAU, is hosting its first conference under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Melhem Riachy, Minister of Information.
Under the theme “Lebanese Media Education: New Directions”, the conference examines media research, laws, curricula, ethics, new technologies, entrepreneurship, and business models and their implications on politics, national development, employment, and democratic governance.
Founded in 2017, MedLeb is an independent organization that aims to promote cooperation among journalism, media, and communication programs, advance scientific research, elevate curricular standards, strengthen the relationship between educators, professionals, policymakers, and the industry, and foster media literacy across Lebanese society. It strives to position Lebanon as a model for media education, training, and research in the Arab region.
