Alumni “Business Etiquette for Success”

The Alumni Relations Office at LAU is organizing a lecture titled: “Business Etiquette for Success” by Balsam Al Khalil, author of “Travel Etiquette” and “Etiquette for all seasons”.

Topics covered:

  • Defining proper professional behavior and standards of professional appearance, attitude, and actions in the business environment
  • Preparing to handle different social and business situations, networking events, business meetings, and business dining both locally and internationally
  • Decoding communication styles and how to handle them professionally
  • Dining etiquette in conferences and events, and on a smaller scale with clients

Balsam Al Khalil is chief representative officer for Bank of Beirut in UAE & the Gulf. She has a degree in law and a Protocol MasterClass degree from Brussels and studied fashion styling and image consultancy at London College of Fashion and the Finishing Touch Academy in Dubai. She is specialized in every aspect of corporate etiquette and international protocols.
