Learning from Japan
Science Building 607-608, Byblos campus
The Department of Architecture & Interior Design is hosting a lecture titled: “Learning from Japan” by Marwa Basmaji.
Following a visit to Japan, Walter Gropius expressed his conviction that “invaluable benefits will accrue to a student of art and architecture from a visit to Japan”. This lecture will highlight key lessons learned from seven years spent in Japan, and how they materialized later into architectural design, research, and teaching.
