Comparative Perspectives on Refugee Politics, the Cases of Lebanon and Germany

The Department of Social Sciences and the Institute for Social Justice and Conflict Resolution (ISJCR) at LAU are organizing a student workshop titled: “Comparative Perspectives on Refugee Politics: the Cases of Lebanon and Germany.”

In the framework of a joint project funded by the Arab-German Young Academy of Humanities and Sciences and the German Ministry of Education (BMBF), students from LAU and the Freie University of Berlin will debate how Lebanon and Germany have respectively responded to the displacement of millions of Syrians.
