Form and Detritus
CHSC Auditorium, Byblos campus
The Department of Architecture & Interior Design is hosting a lecture titled: “Form and Detritus” by Brian Andrews.
The work investigates dark matter, that side of the architectural universe that architects typically do not see and choose not to acknowledge: loss, war, murder, abandonment, annihilation. Many of the projects are situated on forgotten or marginalized sites. The projects explore a connection between image and text as they investigate the connection between dark events and the place in which they were situated.
