The OCE (Outreach & Civic Engagement) is organizing the Annual Global Outreach & Leadership Development (GOLD 2018) Conference which will take place at LAU New York from July 30-August 3, 2018 under  the theme Power of Volunteerism.

THEME:

“Power of Volunteerism”:

Studies show that critical professional skills like agenda setting, decision making and problem solving, in addition to mindfulness of others, empathy, inclusion and team building are developed and improved through volunteerism. We are expecting the following organizations:  United Nations Volunteers, UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, FAO, Doctors without Borders, American Red Cross, New York Cares, Habitat for Humanity, New York Community Trust and other prominent organizations to enrich discussions through both interactive workshops and hands on experience on the powerful benefits of volunteerism , and we are looking forward for experiential learning outcomes and field visits to various active venues in addition to planning some activities inside the UN Headquarters . The schedule of “ GOLD” will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
